Powered by CCAT and launched in partnership with the Connecticut Office of Manufacturing, the Connecticut Manufacturing Internship Program connects small and mid-sized manufacturers with college students—providing hands-on experience, professional development, and valuable industry connections.

Now in its fourth year, the program has grown from 35 to over 200 interns each summer. Employers may also be eligible for up to $14,000 in wage subsidies when hosting four interns.

This summer, interns can take part in a variety of in-person events designed to support both professional and personal growth, including:

• A kickoff orientation at TRUMPF in Farmington on June 4

• Professional development workshops

• Statewide facility tours

• A career fair

• A summer-end celebration
