Participants agree to follow all safety rules set forth in the training and policies of Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) in the Talent & Training Accelerator, including the Digital Thread Lab and Additive Training Center. Participants understand and agree that they must follow these rules to ensure their own safety, and that of their fellow students and instructors. Participants will cooperate fully with their instructor and fellow students to maintain a safe lab environment. Participants agree to closely follow the oral and written instructions provided by the instructor. Participants understand that any violation of this safety contract may result in unsafe conduct in the laboratory leading to their removal from the laboratory and/or dismissal from the course, with no reimbursement. CCAT is not liable for any property damage, personal injury, or even death in the event of an accident or injury, while on CCAT’s premises. Participants agree to waive their right to legal action against CCAT should they become ill or injured during or after attending courses at the Talent & Training Accelerator.
CCAT may cancel or reschedule a paid training class with two (2) business days’ notice to registrants if the minimum number of enrollments is not reached. CCAT may cancel or reschedule a paid training class with less than two (2) business days’ notice under extenuating circumstances such as inclement weather. In the event of a cancelation or change by CCAT, registrants may transfer their paid registration to another class of equivalent value within ninety (90) days, otherwise they will be issued a full refund.
Registrants may cancel or request to transfer their paid registration up to five (5) days (120 hours) before the start of training to be eligible for a refund. Registrants may transfer their paid registration to another class of equivalent value within ninety (90) days, otherwise they will be issued a full refund.
If registrants cancel or request to change their registration with less than 5 days’ notice to CCAT or if they are a no-show, registration transfers are not guaranteed, and no refund will be issued.
